If so, we've a fantastic opportunity within our Construction business for an ambitious and talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join in Cambridge About the Role You'll provide commercial expertise to aid with the delivery of the contracted work by taking the commercial lead in a geographical focused team, managing your own projects, preferably from Stage 2. Responsible for the provision of accurate and timely commercial reports, you'll provide advice to the management team, whilst ensuring the contract achieves the appropriate commercial targets. About You An experienced Senior Surveyor, you'll ideally be educated to BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent commercially related discipline), working towards a professional membership (e.g. RICS.CIOB) and will hold a relevant CSCS Card. With detailed knowledge of company management systems including Commercial and Financial, you'll ideally have worked on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £10 and £30 million and will have managed quantity surveyors on large contracts. About the Role Joining us as a Design Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the design aspects of tenders and projects in progress, leading and providing a professional, comprehensive and sustainable design service for the customer, key partners, suppliers at bid and delivery stages. About You With previous experience on both single stage tenders and preferred terms work, you'll have a sound knowledge of the construction industry, educated to degree level or HNC/HND in a relevant technical discipline and ideally be a member of an industry recognised professional institute (e.g. CIOB). Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence is essential.
