Job Type: Full-time Role: Office Services Assistant Are you an Office Services Assistant looking to work in fantastic offices joining a great team and growing business? This role offers the chance to work alongside the Human Resources Department, providing essential support in facilities coordination and general office management. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a hands-on approach to workplace challenges. Day-to-day of the role: Maintain facilities records, including calendars, filing systems, health and safety records, and maintenance logs. Manage internal building snags system and coordinate with external contractors for services such as security, cleaning, and grounds maintenance. Assist in scheduling building maintenance works. Facilitate contractor quotes, orders, and material requisitions, and perform weekly fire alarm tests. Work with key staff to ensure health and safety processes are followed during any alarm activations or emergency incidents. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues, and assist with employee DSE & Workstation assessments. Provide professional reception management, screen phone calls, manage meeting rooms, and arrange catering for meetings as required. Handle general office management tasks such as ordering supplies and arranging travel and accommodation for staff. Required Skills & Qualifications: Excellent organisational and time management skills with a hands-on approach. Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail. Effective verbal communication with people at all levels, including contractors, visitors, and employees. Confidence and self-motivation with a strong desire for continuous improvement. Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Capable of working both as part of a team and independently. Positive attitude and professional manner when representing the business. Desirable: IOSH certificate or awareness of key health & safety issues within the workplace.
