About you: You will have a strong academic background in social sciences, e.g. economics, economic geography or stats, and a PASSION for and understanding of environmental public policy development. Wide and varied experience delivering ECONOMIC and IMPACT evaluation, overseeing complex projects. You will have designed and delivered evaluation frameworks and evaluation methods. You will have applied economic and quantitative evaluation techniques, such as cost-benefit analysis, data-linking, econometric analysis (panel data models - fixed and random effects), experimental and quasi-experimental impact evaluation methods (RCTs, matching methods). You will have worked within the area of decarbonisation, fuel poverty, energy efficiency, air polluti on, biodiversity depletion and other related areas and have worked with clients like DEFRA, World Bank and BEIS and other organisations. To act as the Lead Assessor for the team and to ensure that all the assessments are in line with City & Guilds criteria and requirements as well as with national and school requirements. To teach and deliver City & Guilds units which enable our learners to gain quality qualifications. To work with the Vocational Manager, on the day to day running and delivery of the Main Tasks and Responsibilities. To provide academic leadership in the Building and Construction Department (BCo) designing appropriate programmes of study to ensure learners gain appropriate qualifications. To plan the daily sessions to ensure the smooth running of the course. To direct and work with the other Assessors with their daily roles and responsibilities. To support curriculum development under the direction of the Vocational Manager across the team. Must have previous building and construction experience!
