Knowledge of the business services sector. Any knowledge of coffee, water, snacking, refreshment hubs and hygiene products and services would be of particular interest, although not essential. Be commercially astute with strong business acumen; gravitas and integrity are critical attributes. Have held senior commercial / sales responsibility and be very driven to succeed both personally and as team manager. Have a proven track record of Sales Management and managing, developing, coaching and growing a team, empowering them to perform and 'value' their expertise. Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. Analyze market data to develop effective business strategies. Identify and target prospective customers within the healthcare plastic packaging market. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers. Develop sustained business-to-business relationships by proactively pursuing leads. Understand customer needs and work with the technical services team to propose customized solutions. Ensure customer satisfaction and drive a customer-focused culture. Develop sales plans aligned with the company's growth and financial objectives. Convert leads into revenue-generating accounts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative packaging solutions. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with customers. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities and forecast future revenue growth. Requirements: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Possess proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the plastic packaging or blow molding industry. Demonstrate a strong understanding of plastic packaging technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes (inc. Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Compression Molding) Have a working knowledge of quality systems, including ISO 13485 and/or ISO 15378. Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Be results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets. Possess the ability to work collaboratively within a team and build relationships based on trust.
