We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis: Key responsibilities Operation & maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps etc. Operation & maintenance of swimming pool & Jacuzzi systems. Responding to breakdowns. Undertaking scheduled maintenance. Fault finding, diagnosis & carrying out repair or replacement of equipment. Managing stock & supplies of equipment. Technical support to colleagues & assisting others. Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues. Ensure a professional approach is always delivered with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality. Liaise regularly with managers, supervisors & colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective service is always delivered to the client. Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities To be fully qualified & an experienced mechanical engineer. NVQ level 2 or above in plumbing & heating. BEng or level 2 diploma particularly in mechanical, production or electrical engineering. Level 2 diploma in H&V. Experience in building or facilities maintenance. The relevant technical knowledge. Work well under pressure. Good verbal & written communication skills. Personal Attributes Highly conscientious, reliable and punctual. Strong time management, organisation and planning skills.
