We are looking for a Flooding Improvement Process Electrical Technician (FLIP) to join Thames Water at Mogden, Sewage Treatment Works, permanently.
As a Successful candidate, you will be responsible for carrying out the planned and defect maintenance of FLIP (Flooding Improvement Process) devices throughout the Thames Water area.
You will inspect, fault diagnose and maintain devices fitted at properties, in a safe efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision.
We are currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) engineering technician to work out of our Swindon Sewage treatment works as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
All Tools, PPE and Van will be provided.
As the successful candidate, your role will be to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as appropriate, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and associated (Programmable Logic Controllers), instrumentation, control and automation equipment in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision.
We are currently recruiting a Specialist Mechanical Process Technician to be based at our Desalination plant at Thames Gateway Water Treatment Works.
The role will also support the operation of the water treatment process.
You will be within multiple disciplined teams that follow a robust maintenance plan as well as getting involved in installation projects, electrical fault finding, project commissioning and emergency breakdown repairs.

It is essential that applicants are Chartered Engineers who have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Drainage Strategies and Drainage Design using Microdrainage.
Candidates are also required to have experience reviewing hydraulic modelling.
