Job Title: Industrial Cleaning Supervisor Location: Ridham Dock Road, Iwade, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME9 8SR Salary: £36,803 per annum Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Working Hours: 47.5 hours per week About Us: FGS Industrial Facilities Management is a Kent based multi-skilled business capable of responding to the needs of industrial clients and their sites. The Role: We are looking for an experienced supervisor to lead the industrial cleaning team within our Kemsley Paper Mill facility, ning ensuring all work is completed to a standard set out by our clients with maximum efficiency. Responsibilities: Coordinating members of the industrial cleaning team, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely manner Ensuring all duties and work is completed to a standard set by our client with maximum efficiency Performing audits in line with customer Key Performance Indicators Implementing delivery of the workplace 5S regime to improve workplace efficiency Ensuring all members of the industrial cleaning team are wearing correct PPE and have the equipment to perform their tasks Checking and emptying bins and ensuring all bins are allocated as per Paper Mill requirements Use of high-pressure water cleaning equipment Removal of any loose broken paper and spillages within the basement area Dusting, vacuuming and use of floor scrubbers at machine level General cleaning and deep cleans as required Working in and supervision of confined spaces Working in and supervision of working at height and site cranes Bobcat and Forklift operation As well as supervising you will be required to undertake general cleaning duties to support your team. Requirements: Commercial awareness and ability to identify business improvement opportunities. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate business ideas effectively. Previous service charge experience Previous experience in property management, corporate facilities management, or a similar field. Advocate for change and supportive in driving operational business changes. Qualifications in facilities management or a related field (e.g., IWFM). Excellent organization and communication skills.
