As the Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial reporting processes. This position will primarily involve reconciling and completing statutory returns, conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting in the review of regional month-end accounts and KPIs. Your responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include: Assist in the review of the regional month end accounts ready for consolidation. Review and challenge information provided by regional teams. Maintain integrity of fixed asset register. Support payroll department in reviewing job costing and reconciliations. Reconcile and consolidate monthly job costing report. Submission and payment of monthly CIS and VAT returns. Production of consolidated management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with Group consolidation and board pack production at month end. Maintain controls in the business and help enforce compliance with legal and accounting regulations. Support the development of the department apprentice. Assist with yearend audit requests and statutory accounts preparation. Assist with annual budget preparation.
