We are currently working with a Central London based Council to recruit a Divisional Accountant for 6-12 months initially with the likelihood of an extension.
You will be working within the SEND and High Needs area and will be responsible for working through and scrutinising large data sets and supporting the budget monitoring and forecasting.
A successful candidate will be part or fully qualified, with experience working within SEND, or adults and children's social care in a Local Government setting.
You will be responsible for the financial accounting function of one division, including preparation, analysis and reconciliation of the monthly balance sheet; ensuring all intercompany accounts are reconciled and the reconciling items are cleared promptly.
