Our client is an SME sized FMCG product manufacturer; contract and own brand. Our client requires an Interim Finance Director to join its fast growing and changing business. The Interim Finance Director will be part of the Senior Leadership Team and responsible for the leadership and oversight of all financial aspects of the Group businesses and company operations, ensuring timely financial reporting, high performance and strong growth. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the finance function including maximising working capital, managing cash flows, debt, investments, capital expenditures and forecasting to maintain organisation's financial health and support the growth ambitions in a controlled way with appropriate risk management. Work with the Financial Controllers to ensure a disciplined and efficient month end process which results in the production of accurate and timely MI/KPI's for the business. Oversee submission of statutory accounts. Supervise production of the monthly Group consolidated accounts. Report to monthly Group board meetings on the financial performance of the group companies. Coordinate production of the Board pack. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, manage audits, implement risk management systems and stay updated on regulatory requirements. Business partnering across all areas of the business ensuring investments deliver sustainable and profitable growth. Candidate Criteria: Qualified Chartered Accountant - ICAEW (with breadth of experience across all areas of finance (Demonstrable experience in both Financial Control, Commercial Finance and FP&A). Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar level leadership role. Experience working in a Finance leadership role within an FMCG / Manufacturing business is essential. Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse complex financial data and drive informed decisions. A proactive commercial business partner with effective influencing skills and a demonstrable track record of adding value. An outstanding communicator who can establish credibility at all levels. An energetic and collaborative leader with gravitas and an approachable style, retaining the ability to be hands on and in the detail, when required. A proactive approach that will bring ideas, problem-solving and innovation. Project management and prioritisation skills.
