Finance Manager Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP Finance Manager To assist the Financial Controller in preparation of monthly financial reporting and to ensure that all local and key reporting deadlines are met Ensure that all local and key Corporate monthly financial reporting (FIRE) deadlines for focus areas. Responsible for the provision of information and preparation of initial explanations to the Financial Controller Produce the monthly balance sheet and cash flow actual and forecast reports within the reporting deadlines or review by Financial Controller Produce timely, accurate and complete financial information for the purposes of the annual budget process Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis and to ensure that any outstanding items are cleared in an accurate and timely manner Co-ordinate, manage and prepare, if required, the calculation and execution of the monthly VAT return and associated VAT reporting and submission of information ready for submission via the MTD VAT software Manage inter-company key data reporting confirmations within tight corporate deadlines communicating other intercompany relationships Co-ordinate, manage and provide information to External Auditors at quarterly, interim and year end audits Co-ordinate and manage the HMRC requirements Review and improve internal VAT controls and produce monthly returns in accurate and timely manner Manage the BACs payment software and be the first point of contact for the Bank as well as report on the Daily and Monthly Cash Liquidity' forecasts Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Previous experience in similar accounting, tax and treasury multidisciplinary environments Organised, highly motivated self-starter able to work to strict deadlines and on own initiative and build on relationships with (senior) management Should be able to occasionally travel to/within UK, Ireland
