Academics are looking for an experienced Special Needs Assistant / Teaching Assistant to commit to a full-time, term-time contract in a Post 16 SEN provision in Portsmouth.
Engage Education are currently working in partnership with an all through school on an exciting new SEND TA position specifically to support learners with Complex Learning Difficulties and SEMH needs in the Portsmouth area.
If the role goes well there is the potential for this to turn into a permanent assignment.
Starting immediately, the school is looking for an outstanding SEND Teaching Assistant to join them on a long term temporary basis.

In this role you will grow your medical knowledge and work in a health and disability assessment role conducting holistic assessments with applicants of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit.
We are seeking those who have been working for a minimum of 1 year post-qualification and registration in the UK.
You will have experience working with people with Autism and associated behavioural challenges.
To provide care and support to a young person with Cerebral Palsy and Autism, who is fully wheelchair dependent.
The ideal candidate must have an energetic and enthusiastic approach, be patient and enjoy doing craft activities, as the young person enjoys doing this on a daily basis.
