Why do we need you? Electrical Maintenance Engineering Lead Saint Gobain Formula Newark Are you someone who is passionate about leading teams and delivering a first-class maintenance and improvement service in manufacturing environments? At our Formula manufacturing facility in Newark, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to own and be responsible for our electrical maintenance team and all electrical equipment and systems across the site. The Electrical Engineer's purpose is to deliver effective equipment maintenance, repair, and improvements including the delivery of project work and CAPEX. You will manage a team of 6 while acting as electrical maintenance and project manager for all people and systems. You will ensure effective maintenance planning working to condition-based maintenance and RCA principles. As the electrical lead for the site, you will be responsible for planning all shutdown activities and plant improvement projects considering resource management. Safety is at the forefront of everything we do. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety of your team and the site. In addition to safety, you will own and drive the ongoing development of your team through planning effective training and development. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a demonstrated background leading teams in the delivery of electrical engineering activities for a large manufacturing business. Formula is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brand's, Formula is a leading supplier of industrial gypsum and plaster products, with applications in multiple industries including construction materials, ceramics, dental and personal care, food and agriculture, and more. Formula currently operates from 8 global manufacturing sites, supplying over 80 countries across all 5 continents. This is a full-time position based at our Newark facility, predominantly Monday to Friday with flexibility required to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation. What we're looking for: Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer Qualified ideally to at least HNC Electrical Engineering, all routes to qualification will be considered. A strong understanding and experience in managing and ensuring safety in industrial environments, IOSH training, or similar would be a distinct advantage. Experienced and trained in the delivery of condition-based maintenance, TPM, RCA, and lean tools. Experience in managing others is preferred, including all performance management, appraisals, objective setting, training, and development plans. Project management and excellent planning skills. Excellent communication and the ability to influence and manage across a matrix organisation. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities Is this job for you?
