The Development Engineer is responsible for the planning and execution of readiness activities and Qualification testing through strong technical knowledge and excellent organisational skills.
A key contributor to the generation of Verification test evidence demonstrating compliance to our customer requirements.
A growing house builder currently have a requirement for a Development Engineer to support the technical team to ensure that Section 38 and 104 roads and sewers are designed, approved, and constructed to appropriate adoption standards and that all engineering aspects on the developments are executed proactively and effectively in line with the business's goals and objectives.
Duties & responsibilities
Review engineering designs to ensure their cost effectiveness and build ability.
Assist the Technical and Commercial Departments in issuing tender drawings to contractors, assessing them upon return and engaging with pre award meetings.
The successful Development Engineer will be qualified in a relevant discipline with experience and knowledge of high voltage requirements, will have the skills to develop power supply designs and will be keen to gain design experience and knowledge.
The role will involve
Liaise with engineers and review customer specifications to understand required unit performance.
Develop and modify high voltage power conversion products and associated equipment to meet agreed specifications.
