Business Development Manager - Scotland We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join a growing Business Finance solutions provider. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and business development, with a proven track record of driving growth and forging strategic partnerships across Scotland. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify new business opportunities, develop relationships, and drive revenue growth across a finance solutions portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence. Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and acquire new clients through various channels including networking, cold calling, and industry events. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. Partnership Management: Develop and manage strategic partnerships with financial institutions, fintech companies, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance our product offerings and market reach. Sales Management: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, technical operations, and finance teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals and objectives. Experience required: Minimum of 4 years of experience in field-based business development, sales, or a related field within the finance industry. A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth with experience of introducing sales solutions to a wide personal network across the business community, including both the SME and corporate markets across Scotland. Skillset and attributes: Strong understanding of financial products and solutions. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business development plans. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
