Job Title: Stores & Warehouse Coordinator Location: Alexandra Docks, Hull Remuneration: £14.07 per hour Contract Details: Temporary, 6-month contract Start Date: 16th May 2024 Working hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:00, 08:00 - 14:30 early finish on Fridays Are you passionate about protecting our planet? If so, our client, a leading renewable energy company, is looking for a Stores & Warehouse Co-Ordinator with FLT experience to join their dynamic and busy team at Alexandra Docks, Hull. This is a temporary position for a 6-month contract and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our vision of creating a better future for our planet. Responsibilities: Order, receive, pick, pack, issue, and despatch inventory on a tight schedule, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Audit transactions of the stores team, record findings, and present them to the line manager. Manage calibrated tools, control, and secure inventory, including safety equipment and tooling. Operating forklift truck onsite for the purposes of transporting goods around the site Maintain a safe, clear, and clean environment, adhering to all procedures and reporting findings to the line manager. Conduct weekly cycle/annual inventory checks, following procedures and auditing results and team performance. Provide effective logistics solutions to the site Operations team, delivering service to internal and external customers. Skills, experience, and qualifications: Required Prior experience operating a forklift truck. Current valid counterbalance license. Experience in Stores or material control position. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements. Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation. IT literacy, particularly in MS Office Applications and SAP, is desirable. Desirable Previous experience within Offshore Wind or a similar environment. Current Valid reach license. Experience working in a shipping and transport setting. My client works across a range of sectors but mainly projects ranging in value from £100k - £5m. Your new roleYour new role as a Quantity Surveyor for this business would be to oversee the day to day running of projects, which could include multiple smaller value projects.Job duties will include but not be limited to: Client Interaction: Meeting with clients to understand their needs and discussing any areas that require revision for price or feasibility. Contract Negotiation: Negotiating labour contracts and schedules.
