Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Full-Time Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a vital role in efficiently handling and organising incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. This is a full-time position scheduled from Monday to friday (9am-6pm). Key Responsibilities: Shipping and Receiving: Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, verifying their contents against purchase orders or delivery documents. Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and proper packaging to prevent damage during transportation. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic inventory systems or manual tracking. Conduct regular stock counts, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve issues promptly. Order Fulfilment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders according to customer specifications and shipping requirements. Ensure that all products are appropriately labelled and ready for timely dispatch. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently. Adhere to equipment maintenance schedules and report any malfunctions promptly. Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damages and report any issues to supervisors. Ensure that all goods meet quality standards before dispatching or storing. Warehouse Organisation: Organise products systematically in the warehouse to optimise space utilisation and facilitate easy access. Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, following standard safety practices to prevent accidents. Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Report any potential hazards or incidents immediately to supervisors. Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including shipping manifests, invoices, and inventory reports. Ensure that all records are well-organised and easily accessible for auditing purposes. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks effectively. Communicate any operational issues, delays, or challenges promptly. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, such as optimising storage methods, reducing handling time, or enhancing overall efficiency. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operator or a similar role. Proficiency in using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet pump-trucks. Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment. Knowledge of safety regulations and willingness to follow proper safety procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in warehouse operations or forklift operation. Experience with material handling equipment and automated warehouse systems. Familiarity with industry-specific safety regulations.

The role would be supporting the Area Sales Manager by going into existing customers (Builders Merchants) and doing product demonstrations, Training the staff and customers, up selling the products and Merchandising. PRINCIPLE SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES: To drive sales through product demonstrations and customer product training exceeding KPIs targeted. To build and maintain strong relationships with all customers, supporting the ASMs as tasked. To ensure products are displayed within Builder Merchant sector within geographical area, supporting open days and campaigns set by the commercial team. To ensure centrally agreed marketing campaigns are executed in all sectors and all contracts. To update and fully use CRM system daily. To undertake administrative duties including weekly KPI reports, ensuring all admin is completed on time in full. To undertake a program of personal skill development as the role develops. To support, cover and perform regional duties. CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT: The role operates in a highly competitive, dynamic, and innovative environment. The role is home based, without direct supervision and requires a high degree of self-motivation. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Product/market knowledge is desired. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. The job - holder must be flexible, plan and organise the workload with a professional self-motivated approach to the role.
