Deputy Nursery Manager Job Overview: As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of young minds. You'll support the Manager to lead a dedicated team, fostering children's development in inspiring environments. Your passion for early childhood education and developing leadership skills will be essential in creating a nurturing and enriching experience for both children and staff. Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Support a highly motivated and professional team. Ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times. Create a positive and inclusive work environment. Support with overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies and procedures, including child protection issues and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies. Collaborate with parents, staff, and external agencies. Childcare and Education: Implement a high-quality curriculum, supporting with planning to ensure each child is working towards the early learning goals. To participate in the key person system. Foster a love for learning through creative and engaging activities. Promote a safe and stimulating inclusive environment where children are able to flourish. Staff Development: Encourage continuous professional development. Parent and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and families, adopting our focus on family values. Support with parent meetings, events, and workshops. Collaborate with local community resources. Qualifications: Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Ready to take on a leadership role within an early-years setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Passion for child development and education. Additional Information: Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (NE15) Salary: Com£14-£15 per hour based on experience.
