The business is looking for an experienced Catering Supervisor to join their on-site hospitality team on a full time, permanent basis with immediate effect. As the successful Catering Supervisor, you will be tasked with ensuring the smooth execution of all catering events, from initial planning to final service. Working 5 days a week between 7:00 - 22:30, you will be an integral part of the catering team who takes great pride in delivering a customer centric and detailed oriented experience to all customers. Retail discounts 6% Pension contribution Responsibilities: Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand catering requirements, including menu selection, dietary restrictions, and event logistics. Plan and organise catering events, including staffing, equipment, and supplies. Train, and supervise junior and agency staff, assigning duties and responsibilities but also ensure that they understand their roles and expectations. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all catering operations meet health and safety regulations and company standards. Ensure the restaurant and other catering areas are prepared correctly for the next service, checking arrangements on the online computer booking system. Manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies. Coordinate with vendors and ensure that inventory levels are sufficient for upcoming events. Take responsibility for any keys ensuring that they are always signed in and out. Ensure that all areas of service are clean and in tidy condition for guests. Be flexible and attend to any other reasonable requests by the restaurant or any other department manager. Your Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a similar role. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and vendors. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as experience with inventory management and budgeting. Flexibility to work shifts between 7:00 - 22:30.
