Bars Manager - New Opening 47-50K basic 10% bonus Canary Wharf I am recruiting for a cocktail focused bars manager in Canary Wharf to work for a market leading leisure operator who are about to open a premium competitive socialising and entertainment attraction. As bars manager will be running muktiple bars across the venue and will be supported by a team of assistant managers, bar supervisors and full and part time bar staff. There are a number of VIP and private bars including the penthouse with the hospitality operation designed to complement the premium nature of the overall guest experience throughout the venue. One of the major features of this role is the early clsoing times with the venue scheduled to close at 9pm Tuesday to Thursday, at 10.30pm on Friday. 11pm on Saturday and 7pm on Sunday. You will be one of 5 senior managers who report into the GM and you will be required to carry out duty management shifts across the venue which at capacity can hold 500 guests. We are keen to hear from candidates who have at least 3 years' experience working as a GM or Bars Manager within a comparable cocktail or style led venue, premium hospitality destination or private members club in Central London. Responsibilities include: Ensuring high operational management and financial efficiency of the bars to achieve superior levels of guest satisfaction. Developing high quality cocktails and seasonal menu creation that innovates and achieves the brand and service standards. Work with the bars and alongside the kitchen team to ensure all HACCP procedures are effectively managed to achieve a 5-star rating. Recruiting, training, motivating and managing your team, optimising the rota in line with prebooking's and anticipated footfall. Oversee labour budgets and optimise expenditure, including the achievement of GP targets and labour margins. Contribute ideas to develop and improve the bars operations, menus and overall customer experience. To effectively procure and manage cost of supplies. minimising waste and stock loss. Ensuring regular stock takes are planned and carried out, along with the effective use of the EPOS system. Work closely with the Group Booking Coordinator. Kitchen and Operations Manager on the effective planning for group bookings You will be expected to lead your teams from the front, you will be working a combination of shifts during the week and a minimum of 1 weekend in 2. The salary range is 47-50K DOE with a KPI related bonus of 10% that is paid quarterly.
