Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager or Team Leader to join the team. As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the residential service. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding for the children and young people. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily running of the residential service. Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, promoting a positive and supportive team culture. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies and procedures. Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments for each child or young person. Conduct regular supervision sessions with staff and provide constructive feedback and support. Act as a key point of contact for external agencies, families, and other professionals involved in the care of the children and young people. Assist with recruitment, training, and performance management of staff members. Requirements: Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent. At least one year of experience in a supervisory position within a children's residential home setting. Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and experience working within a regulated environment. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
