Summary The role of the Designer is to work with the Head of Design to deliver print and colour direction for homeware and fashion and work on the product development of core licensed product categories, ensuring that licensed products for Fashion categories represent all aspects of the brand. The primary purpose of this position is to design and develop product ranges that reflect the key looks highlighted in the seasonal trend packs, review and approve all creative concepts and designs submitted by licensees and provide feedback at each stage of the product development. You are responsible for helping customers get the most out of their creative products by ensuring they have a consistently high quality and personalised experience. Key Responsibilities: Adapt existing artwork to alternative layouts and/or formats in line with customer briefs and their brand requirements. Creating and managing our 'Pick your own' templates and requests, making changes and uploading to the Online Hub. Carry out proof checking on other members of the Design teams work prior to proofing to customer. Ensuring high standards of work are kept across the team. Handling New Orders in a timely and efficient manner. In line with customer briefs and their brand requirements whilst ensuring they are delivered within team KPI requirements. Be an expert in our design service, responding to customers and internal teams by phone or email who need support. Manage the asset collection for customers who are sending their own creatives, ensuring these comply with ASA and CAP guidelines as well as our own terms and conditions. Working efficiently within the team to provide a seamless service to customers through a variety of communication channels and within set standards and KPI's. Helping your Team Leader and Manager with bespoke projects including trialling new processes and initiatives. Work alongside Design Facilitators to assist in Categorising, Uploading and Ad Moderation tickets where necessary. Essential Skills: A good knowledge Adobe Photoshop is essential. Adobe Illustrator and InDesign is an advantage but not essential. Good layout and typographical skills and knowledge of fonts. Problem-solving skills and the ability to know when to ask for help. Has great prioritisation skills, is able to appreciate urgency and act accordingly. Takes responsibility for your own workload, and for that of the team. You should be able to work under your own initiative and be self-motivating, determined to ensure the Design KPI's are always within our team targets and the ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment. Accurate and methodical with high standards, an excellent eye for the detail, so everything you put your name to is right first time for our customers. Clear and effective communicator in both written and verbal form, who is confident in speaking to different people internally and within the customers business to build a strong rapport and manage expectations with demanding customers.
