As a Kitchen Sales Designer, you will support our Trade customers, by turning their clients' dream kitchens into a reality. Meeting end users in their homes you will listen to their vision, seek to clearly understand their needs, and offer your expert advice. You will then plan and design inspirational kitchens that exceed their expectations for both design and utility. You will have the confidence to negotiate with our Trade customers, whilst promoting and protecting the integrity and value of the design and the quality of our products. Skills and attributes you need to be a successful Kitchen Sales Designer: Customer service Thrives in fast-paced environments An eye for design Previous sales experience Prioritisation and organisation skills Curious learner Results driven Full UK Driving license Access to your own vehicle Previous design (CAD) experience is preferred, but not essential It doesn't matter if you haven't worked in this industry or as a Kitchen Sales Designer before, as we will offer you face-to-face and online training via our own Howdens Academy, which will cover everything from kitchen measuring & compliance, inspirational design, technical product knowledge, and sales skills. What you will be doing: Reporting to the Lead packing engineer, you will be working Pittman rotating 12-hour shifts within our retail production facility: Attend machine breakdowns efficiently and provide effective measures to ensure issues are resolved. Carry out PPM, corrective and improvement actions on all packing machines. Deliver and develop effective re-active maintenance, repairs & improvements. Generate and complete work orders on the CMMS. Help develop and implement effective PM schedules. Support and achieve the engineering KPI's. What you will need to succeed Multi-skilled automation skills on packing equipment or equivalent Excellent fault finding and route cause analysis skills. Experience of working in a FMCG environment Some supervisory experience would be beneficial. Comfortable in autonomous decision making and team working.
