We are delighted to be working alongside a successful short term property finance lender (Bridging and Development loans) in Chester. They are now looking to grow their team and are looking for a Loan Portfolio Case Manager who will report to the Director of Credit Risk. The successful candidate will be primarily involved in the management of their growing portfolio of development, refurbishment and bridging loans. Main responsibilities Management of a portfolio of existing customers and to assist dealing with new applications alongside. Responsible for the management of each loan until they are finally repaid in full. Deliver high levels of accuracy and attention to detail when producing all written and communicated data. Assist with the completion and management of the loan portfolio, including redemption of loans. This includes drafting and sending out interest payment reminders, completion letters, notification of changes in interest rates, redemption statements and term reminder letters to borrowers. Calculation and preparation of loan redemption statements. Monitoring the progress of the loan, including the build/refurbishment works, sales, planning and refinance. Manage the Development loan drawdowns, including arranging monitoring visits, liaising with the QS, updates on progress and costs and ensuring the timely release of funds. Working closely with the Director of Risk to manage loans in default and this may include liaising with solicitors and the appointment of LPA receivers etc Toproactively chase clients/brokers/solicitors etc for updates & outstanding documents. Updating brokers and borrowers via phone and email on the status of their loan application/redemption. Updating the loan cases on the system and ensuring all information is uploaded. Maintaining loan pipeline records/spreadsheets for MI. To assist with providing information for external audits and ensuring all information is uploaded to the live records. Answering the phone and being the first point of contact with commercial mortgage brokers and borrowers calling our office. Key Competencies Development monitoring and lending experience Someone who does not shy away from tough situations and are able to have difficult conversations with borrowers. In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for a prestigious clientele dealing in Futures & Options and OTC clearing.
