The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day financial control, reporting forecasting cycles, and offering in-depth analysis to drive performance improvements. What you'll do: As a Management Accountant, you will play an integral role in our finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day financial control, ensuring that all financial matters are handled efficiently and effectively. You will also be involved in preparing weekly/monthly reporting cycles, which includes Financial Performance Reports, forecasts, Key Performance Indicators among others. Additionally, you will prepare site budgets and forecasts while ensuring their accuracy and robustness. Your role will also involve reviewing and challenging costings created to ensure their accuracy. You will have the opportunity to drive cost reduction through proactive challenge and collaboration. Provide day-to-day financial control through reporting forecasting cycles Collaborate with site Finance Manager on control, analysis and communication of site overhead spends Prepare weekly/monthly reporting cycle including Financial Performance Reports, forecasts, Key Performance Indicators etc. Conduct month end budget holder overhead reviews as required Prepare site budgets and forecasts ensuring they are accurate, robust, challenged and understood Review and challenge costings created ensuring accuracy Drive cost reduction via proactive challenge and collaboration Provide ad-hoc analysis, modelling and project support as required by the Site Finance Manager What you bring: The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position brings a wealth of experience from a strong manufacturing background. You should be part qualified CIMA/ACCA or possess equivalent experience. Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel is essential for this role. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, proactive, and possesses strong analytical skills. The ability to work calmly under pressure to meet deadlines is crucial. Strong communication and people skills are also key to succeed in this role.
