Invoice Processing: Handle the processing of approximately 3000 purchase invoices per month.

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client's team in Blackburn.
In this role, you will support the Accounts Payable Team by processing purchase invoices and expense claims efficiently and accurately, in line with business requirements.
You will handle inbound valuation enquiries to convert them into consignments whenever possible, considering reserves and terms.
Self-generation of business is essential, achieved by contacting owners advertising classic and collector motor vehicles for sale in specialist magazines, club publications, on specialist websites (such as carandclassic, classiccarsforsale, pistonheads, prewarcar/postwarcar, classicdriver, classic-trader, eBay), and through social media platforms (Facebook Marketplace, Instagram).
Role
As a Sales Specialist with a well-known classic car auctioneer, your primary role is to generate income through the sale of classic and collector motor vehicles, adhering to company-specified KPIs (key performance indicators).
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you'll be working closely with the Accounts Payable & wider finance team to ensure that all Purchase invoices and Supplier matters are managed efficiently.
