The job consists of; Checking information on documents. Updating Excel documents with correct dates. Data entry. Database management. Order processing. Ad-hoc office duties. Broster Buchanan are recruiting for a Payroll Team Leader in Peterborough, the role is on site 2 days a week, with 3 remote Responsible for leading a team of Payroll Administrators that administer payrolls for approximately 11,000 employees. This role plays a pivotal role in coaching, mentoring and developing the team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the monthly payrolls. Challenging and developing the procedures to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement. The role also encompasses supporting the Payroll Manager and the HR team in projects such as resolving issues with the payroll software. Job Description The payrolls are accurate and timely. Queries raised by employees are resolved within the specified timeline. Processes are challenged and continually improved. The Payroll Administrators are motivated, trained and developed. All monthly and annual returns, submissions and payments relating to payroll are accurate and timely. New Businesses joining the group are onboarded seamlessly. A collaborative relationship is maintained with the central and outside HR departments Person Specification Proven experience in the whole payroll process. A proven energetic and motivational leader. Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels. Experience of dealing with SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP and salary sacrifice schemes through the payroll is essential. An aptitude for working with ICT systems is essential. Very good attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness. Flexible and adaptable to changing environment with the ability to be proactive and strategic in their breadth of thinking and reasoning bringing new ideas and enthusiasm to the department as the group continues to grow.
