Data administrator Job Type: Temporary (10 weeks) Location: Ipswich Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm We are seeking a data administrator to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role is crucial in supporting the team with a significant project involving the consolidation of systems across multiple sites, set to go live later this year. The successful candidate will be instrumental in uploading data and managing transfers and ensuring that all tasks adhere to a specific checklist to keep the project on track. Day to Day of the role: Support the team in transferring data onto a new unified system. Follow a detailed checklist to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain progress on multiple activities simultaneously, ensuring the project stays on schedule. Show flexibility in working hours when required to meet project demands. Transition to a hybrid working model after the initial training week, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Required Skills & Qualifications: Good organisational skills to manage various tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy. Excel skills, ideally with VLOOKUPS knowledge. IT literacy to navigate new systems with ease. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team. Ability to multitask and keep multiple activities moving forward. Data Administrator The Company: Working within a busy Purchasing team, you will support the Buyer 's with a variety of administrative and expediting tasks. The Data Administrator will offer advanced skills using Excel , and these will be fully relied upon to assist in the raising of purchase orders and expediting of goods. There will be elements of administration relating to export documentation, and generally a really interesting and varied workload. This role is offered on a fixed term contract basis. Two roles are available (6 months and 12 month durations). Job Responsibilities: Raising Purchase Orders and expediting of material deliveries. Maintaining data using MRP and Excel (so intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas) General administration relating to export and import of goods. Preferred Skills: You will be an excellent administrator with advanced Excel skills. Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas. Some experience within a procurement environment would be beneficial although not essential.
