The role is starting asap with the potential of going permanent. We are recruiting for a Pupil Support Worker for a Primary SEMH school within Accrington. The SEMH School in Accrington provides education for Primary age children from EYFS - KS2, they aim to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning so that all children can achieve their academic potential. Within your role will be working with an ASC class with 5 pupils and the teacher in the afternoon you will be required to do some 1-2-1 intervention work for literacy and numeracy, work will be set by the class teacher. MAPA training is desirable not essential as training can be provided. They ensure that they foster and develop the social and emotional well-being of their children as well as concentrating on developing the potential of their staff. Pay starts from £89.89 per day dependent on experience up to £110.89 per day. The school also has a large on site staff parking with close links to the motorway and a bus stop located outside the school.
