Job Title: Senior Commercial Property Solicitor Salary: Up to £80K Hours: Full Time. 4 day week will be considered. Location: Newport, Wales Hybrid Overview: This established, full service, law firm in Newport, offers tailored legal solutions for both business and personal matters. With a friendly team of roughly 40 staff they combine specialised expertise with a personal touch to their clients as well as supporting their colleagues and aiding professional development. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join their growing, busy department. Responsibilities: Manage your own independent caseload of Commercial Property transactions, including but not limited to: Support clients through property acquisitions, sales, and financing, simplifying complex processes for efficient outcomes. Represent landlords and tenants in leasing, assignments, licenses, and occupancy agreements, ensuring terms align with business needs Advise investors, developers, and businesses on office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use property transactions. Working closely with the other teams to offer integrated advice on property transactions and related issues. Experience Required: Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with experience in Commercial Property Proven experience in guiding clients through commercial property transactions. Demonstrated ability to represent both landlords and tenants, with experience negotiating leases, assignments, licenses, and occupancy agreements that support business needs.
