What you'll be doing Coordinating communication among internal stakeholders, policyholders, advisors, and external clients, and organize meetings as needed. Overseeing the entire incident process, including investigation, analysis, planning, fixing root causes, and remediation for customers. Handling regulatory reports and identify any breaches promptly. Maintain inaccurate system records and update them as necessary. Analysing data effectively and assess the impact on populations to determine required actions. Identify recurring themes during root cause analysis and recommend solutions to internal stakeholders. Assist with CI-related changes, from initial request through testing and feedback on Business Requirement Documents. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, procedures, and systems to effectively manage Corporate Incidents. What we're looking for Strong knowledge of Life and/or Pensions products with expert knowledge in at least one area. Good working knowledge of BaNCS. Ability to learn and effectively navigate multiple computer systems and interrogate system specifications. Excellent working knowledge of computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project. Strong analytical skills, ability to make sound logical decisions, understands the impact of key decisions. Planning and organisation skills, ability to manage own workload effectively and plan and organise activities required for CI resolution. Due to this our client is embarking on a large recruitment drive across their key UK regions to appoint confident & ambitious property professionals who can join their broker arm as a Commercial Property Finance Broker at a genuinely exciting time. Our client is renowned for supporting commercial borrowers with access to a broad range of commercial/specialist property loans. These loans may be commercial mortgages (own/occupy) or a broad range of BTL/portfolio landlord loans for property investors. In addition, our client also supports property development & refurb projects too, via development finance & bridging loans. The broker in question has been operating in this space for nearly a century. Due to this, two things are key: 1. Lots of warm leads! Due to reputation & expertise, our client generates a lot of warm leads for their brokers to handle! These will complement leads that you may choose to originate yourself, be this from your own market connections or business development activity. 2. 'Whole of Market' access to Lenders & Banks Due to the high levels of serious borrowers that our client generates, it may not surprise you to know that the very best lenders & banks are happy to be aligned to them. This means our client can cover any loan size of purpose, be that a £100k or £100m commercial property loan. As a result, conversion of application to funded loan is one of the highest in the UK and more so, drives a lot of repeat business which is a key part of their growth model (and will be a key part of yours too!) Naturally, this blend of warm leads & repeat borrowers married to whole of market access across prime and specialist, means you have the highest chance of achieving significant loan conversions, which is how your bonus is earned! The perfect setup for a commercial property broker. More on that later. The Role - Commercial Property Finance Broker Within the role, you will manage new applications from 'cradle to grave' as follows: Initial assessment of enquiries & their viability for funding Where the loan is deemed as applicable, you will then engage directly with the client to host a more detailed 'fact find' session meeting, face to face From this session, you will create an initial 'credit paper' that can be shared with lenders and banks in the market Once the borrowers position & requirement have been confirmed, you will then research the lender/banking market for suitable loan products/institutions that can fund your clients requirement Once identified, you will engage with those lenders/banks and will work with them to ensure they have the documents & information they need to underwrite and sanction the loan You will liaise with borrower & lender/bank throughout this journey & until conclusion - a funded loan! The ideal individual for this role must demonstrate current of previous experience working with commercial property loans, bridging or development finance. This may be for a lender, broker or bank. This is to ensure you are comfortable in reviewing applications & are able to undertake detailed fact finds with clients, to drive their applications forward. You will be a confident relationship manager & someone who is naturally inclined to lead & drive forward cases in a proactive manner. Borrowers often require loans at short notice, so individuals that are strong process leaders will be highly sought after to ensure key SLAs are met. Required Experience: A demonstrable track record of funding commercial property finance deals A strong knowledge of commercial property loan structuring and negotiation Experience working for a broker, bank or lender A good knowledge of credit or credit risk principles Quantifiable Skills & Personality Traits: An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing A strong attention to detail with good numerical skills Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple cases at any one time Thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment Target centric and drive The basic package on offer is up to c£50k & relevant to experience. Higher offers may be considered for exceptional experience. This will be complemented by access to our clients excellent uncapped bonus & benefits scheme too. OTE's of c£85k - £90k should be attainable in year one, with higher OTE's expected in future years as your experience progresses & your pipeline & repeat business builds. The Opportunity In this role you will be reporting into the Incident Team Leader, the man responsibility of the Business Analyst is to review and resolve Corporate Incidents for our clients. You will be investigating and analysing the cause and planning the actions required to rectify the issue by self or relevant parties. To ensure that Corporate Incidents are delivered in line with client and regulatory expectations. You'll be: Involved in any elements of the CI process from initial investigation, population analysis, planning of activities, calculation of detriment, root cause fix and customer remediation. Ensuring rectification is completed in accordance with Life & Pensions Regulations, TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles and Phoenix Remediation Frameworks Taking ownership of activity within individual Corporate Incidents to ensure agreed actions and timescales are met, including handling complex and technical pieces of work. Making decisions taken against Incident procedures and regulatory guidelines to ensure customers are put back into the position they should have been. Liasing with internal stakeholders, policy holders, advisors and external clients are involved and receive appropriate communications. Meetings with all relevant parties organised and facilitated.
