Responsibilities: To provide administrative support for all areas of the Debt Recovery Team. As a Collections Agent, you will play a crucial role in the agency's debt recovery process, working within the framework of FCA regulations to effectively manage and collect outstanding debts on behalf of the companies clients. You will be responsible for engaging with debtors, negotiating repayment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions. To provide administrative support for all areas of the Debt Recovery Team or as instructed by Line Manager Contact customers by telephone, email, letter and text to maximise the collection of arrears accounts To adhere to company standards and necessary legal and regulatory requirements (TCF/FCA) To gather and verify client information from various sources and ensure client data is accurate and up to date on in house systems Work to reduce delinquency with the objective of returning borrower accounts to a resolved or up-to-date status Provide excellent customer service and support whilst adhering to the forbearance and vulnerable customer policy Support the Collections Manager with the issue of summons to customers Maintain customer based information on systems on all activities including building, running and reviewing reports to identify potential problem areas Qualifications: Proven experience in debt collection or a related field, preferably in a regulated environment Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with debtors from diverse backgrounds Strong understanding of FCA & TCF regulations and compliance requirements related to debt collection Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation Proficiency in using collections software and Microsoft Office applications Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity and ethical conduct in all interactions
We are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager in Ashton-Under-Lyne. Pay rate: £23.23-23.67 per hour. Hours: Full time (Hybrid role- 3 days in office per week) Contract duration: Temporary ongoing. Purpose: The prime objective of the post is to manage and develop the client's Schools PFI contracts to ensure that they fully support improved education attainment and that they provide value for money. This will involve overseeing the delivery of quality services and targeted benefits through professional contract, project, and stakeholder management of the client's Education PFI contracts. The role will require strong managerial, analytical and communication skills and the ability to manage complex and multi-dimensional relationships within structured contractual processes. Duties: Raising CVN's (Change Variation Notices) & ARF (Authority Request for Funds) for the schools to the SPV for works to be undertaken. Approving CVN's once approved by the school. Requisition to be raised for CVN's/ARF's (GAA (Greater Ashton Academy)/SL (Samuel Laycock School) & Hattersley Project (x 4 schools cluster), we don't currently do this for Amber). Check all invoices received against paperwork for each job to ensure correct. Receipting of invoices for payment in a timely manner Invoices to be typed up and sent to GAA & SL, answer queries and attend meetings in this regard. Ensuring trackers for each project are kept up to date Checking Monthly report for each project ensuring correct and performance deductions are correct Attend monthly meetings with SPV & FM co to discuss monthly reports Check and approve Unitary Charge invoices each month for all projects, ensure all elements are checked in regard utilities, performance deductions catering etc. Attend monthly FM meeting for all 12 schools. Liaising with schools when emails/calls are received regarding contract/FM issues. Attend defects meetings for GAA Governance reports e.g. SL/GAA contract termination and liaising with appropriate stakeholders.
