Finance ERP Applications Manager (Dynamics 365) - St. Austell / Hybrid - Circa: £50,000 Neg DOE Trial Balance Consulting have been reengaged by a particularly longstanding a loyal client, a very rapidly expanding and highly successful engineering business based in St. Austell. The business has grown rapidly in recent years with a significant increase in employee headcount in both Cornwall and throughout the UK. Following the acquisition of a highly experienced CFO, the key focus of this role will be to streamline, and future proof a robust companywide technology platform that integrates multiple ERPs with MS Dynamics 365. This is a full time, permanent position which benefits from a hybrid working arrangement (if required), with up to two days per week working from home. Working closely alongside the Head of Finance, CFO and general finance team, but with regular interaction with department heads across the business, the Applications Manager will play a crucial role in developing sound technology platforms. Key responsibilities to include: Critical analysis of existing D365 capabilities and usage, setting out a short, medium and long term action plan to maximise the software efficiency across the business Develop a programme plane with budgets for continued D365 deployment Work towards a largely automated system ensuring a paperless office that is also free from MS Office files! Develop strong relationships with external technology providers and IT partners Integration of time & attendance systems Coordinate large scale data migration projects to D365 Develop project costing tools and tendering protocols (bills of materials etc.) Assume full responsibility for ERP program management Work with department heads to implement a super-user group Develop and roll out integrated HR systems Develop high quality data management infrastructure Create high quality financial reporting tools For this role we seek an experienced ERP Applications Manager or Systems Accountant, ideally with a strong working knowledge of MS Dynamics 365.
