Our client who are very well established within their industry are looking for a Credit Analyst to join their team. The company are very well established, have a good reputation in the marketing place and offer a competitive benefits package, including hybrid working. Responsibility of the role is conducting credit assessment and underwriting soft assets inline with FC regulations. Duties: Duties: Carry out credit assessments and underwriting for soft asset classes. Predominantly SME and Corporate customers. Participate in the process of structuring. Underwriting. Underwriting and documenting credit facilities designed to meet both client and investor needs. Conduct full credit due diligence on requests for asset finance facilities up to £500k, including financial, product and industry analysis. Work closely with sales, asset management and pricing teams to understand proposed transactions and obtain required information to minimise risk and maximise profitable transactions. Provide support on counter fraud and regulatory tasks within the Credit Department. Write appropriate credit reports in relation to request for new credit facilities Prepare and support credit ratings in line with credit policy. Manage approval of credit facilities through personal authority or submission to appropriate credit authority. Hold and use a personal credit authority commensurate with proven ability and experience. A typical analyst authority is up to £500,000. Role requirements Expereince of working within a similar role. Credit assessment/underwriting experience. Proven track record of utilising a personal credit authority. Excellent attention to detail and capacity for independent analysis and decision making. Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise workload.
