Job Title: Production Facilitator Employment type: Permanent Based: Newhaven Salary: £37k - £40k Job Context: This role is a stand-alone position within the management team, and is office based. The position, whilst having a functional responsibility for the day to day running of the factory floor also has a wider brief to liaise with and prioritise, those departments that influence the needs of production. Job purpose: The main purpose of the role is to maximise the throughput and efficiency of the Company's facilities and resources whilst maintaining the quality of the product to meet or exceed, our clients expectations. Key Responsibilities: Direct responsibility for Production, Test and Materials procurement. Plan, co-ordinate and control all production activities. Business Development Manager Role Overview Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Lewes, East Sussex (hybrid) Salary: £50,000-£60,000 (DOE) quarterly performance-related bonus The Business Development Manager works closely with the Sales team to identify and create new opportunities in the global market. This can be through our client's existing customers by enhancing their solutions and expanding the total sales packages they offer or through new customers either geographically or in new vertical segments and applications. The role will focus on growing the company's business with security solutions that deliver end customer value whilst also being technically viable and profitable for our client. This is a great opportunity to be an integral member of the Sales team in supporting the growth of the business by providing market intelligence, identifying and attacking new opportunities and supporting the Bid team with quality bids in peak periods. The role requires an emphasis on understanding the best fit-for-purpose solutions for organisations operating across the Transportation / Rail Infrastructure, Rail Rolling Stock, Tunnel and Airport sectors. As such, you will be required to understand the company's products and solutions and be able to turn these into specifications for Consultants and end customers. Designing Electrical projects with consideration of EMC & Signal integrity Experience using Hyperlynx but not essential Good understanding of Micro-Controllers / CPUs Essential Skills Schematic design experience using Altium SW UK Resident or proof of right to work Visa Tasks and Duties A new Senior Engineer to gauge understanding of our current processes and Systems, showcase how we can improve these and lead emerging Core products. Some examples of what my Senior Engineers in my Dept are involved with are; Design & Redesign of new and updated LED, Passenger information, controllers, New sign processor projects, the roll out of new Smart Ethernet based TFT systems & component obsolescence. Part of all stages of the standardised V diagram within R&D, including the creation of rapid prototypes, testing, compliance, and design consideration for scalable manufacturing.
