Techniche are supporting a leading automotive manufacturer to appoint a Mobile Applications Tester for their site in Cranfield. Location: Cranfield, Bedfordshire Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-1.20pm Type: Hybrid working typically 3 days/week on site Rate: £18.01 per hour holiday and pension so that's £20.71 per hour (annual equivalent of £42,000 per annum) Duration: 12 months Contract with prospects for further extension This role will be working on the testing of mobile Apps that are connected their latest vehicles. This could be for app functionality such as EV charging monitoring, trackers, remote control functions such as locking or heating etc. Mobile Applications Tester This role can consider anyone who has worked on the software (user interface) testing of Mobile applications Automotive Experience is not required. Experience with mobile application testing is sufficient Either iOS or Android apps experience is fine. Experience of conducting, preparing and reporting on tests for mobile applications is essential Any experience of testing mobile applications that integrate to connected devices would be beneficial (i.e. appliances or IOT connected devices) Ability to write reports and use company's software systems to report bugs, test results etc is essential.
We are expanding our Works department at Cranleigh school and a new role has been created for a Junior Carpenter. Reporting to our Senior Carpenter, this is a varied role carrying out carpentry and bench joinery works in a busy school environment. The post holder will be part of the dedicated Works team that covers all planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and minor repairs. Candidates must be experienced in all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry and be confident using all manner of mobile power tools and comply with current Health and Safety Practice relating to this trade. The ideal candidate will also be enthusiastic and keen to learn, have good attention to detail, be a team player, and adaptable to working in different areas of the school campus. They will also have a qualification in a carpentry based diploma and a full driving licence.
