Duties - Reception meet and greet Access control and keeping access / egress records Maintenance of logbooks and registers Maintaining security for the building by providing passes to visitors/staff Notifying appropriate people that a visitor has arrived to see them Keeping track of the people arriving for appointments and when they leave the building Answering phone calls and responding appropriately to the callers needs Dealing with visitors and their requests Receive and pass on mail deliveries. Locking up and unlocking Assist visitors when leaving the premises, e.g. arrange taxis Patrolling premises to prevent or detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates Answer alarms and investigate disturbances Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of your premises Contact the police or fire departments in cases of emergency Supporting clients in the reiteration of site rules, policies and procedures Assisting the client when needed Essential Experience: Smart, Professional and inspire confidence to our clients Always exhibit outstanding customer service Good communication skills on all levels Strong work ethic and proactive mindset to resolve all concerns to expectation Security Officers must hold a valid SIA licence Security Officers must hold First Aid Level 3 Front of house corporate experience Basic computer skills (word, excel etc) City Group is committed to equal opportunities. High Standards of Personal presentation (Suit, white shirt, tie). High standard of conduct no use of mobile phones, etc. Computer literate in all Microsoft applications. Experience in a similar role, would add an advantage. Physically fit to undertake given tasks. Excellent customer service skills Possess the ability to work under pressure.
