Corporate Tax Manager Location: Guildford, GU1 (Hybrid Working) Job Type: Full-time Salary: £59,000 - £69,000 (Depending on Experience) We are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our client's team, offering a culture that celebrates individuality, fresh thinking, flexibility, and collaboration. The Corporate Tax Manager will manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients with complex tax affairs, ensuring excellent client service and the identification of further work opportunities. Day to Day of the role: Manage relationships and act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring all tax affairs comply with statutory requirements. Identify and advise on tax planning opportunities and undertake specialist technical assignments as required. Manage assignments efficiently, confirming arrangements with the client, including costs and billing. Support the preparation of proposals for new work and participate in presentations to prospective clients. Be actively involved in business development activities, client seminars, and effective follow-up. Liaise with other departments to ensure all potential client needs are identified and serviced. Maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge through reading, courses, and fulfilling CPD requirements. Act as a line manager for staff, including their development, training, and appraisals. Supervise and control the completion of work, briefing junior staff on clients and pre-assignment instructions. Attend staff meetings and training as required, maintaining an awareness of Health and Safety issues. Required Skills & Qualifications: ACA qualified (or equivalent). CTA qualification is preferred, or proven tax advisory experience. Experience in a client-facing role. Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio. Demonstrated experience and interest in business development. Previous experience operating at Assistant Manager, Manager, or a similar role is required.
