The role will sit between the Finance Manager and an Accounts Assistant taking ownership of the general ledger and financial transactions for accurate and compliant reporting, both internally and externally.
The role will also assist in providing information to the Executive team and wider business, both financial and non-financial, that can be used in day-to-day operations and decision-making.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a global manufacturing company.
Reporting to the Finance Manager the ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of double entry bookkeeping experience and transactional accounting duties.
The role will be part of their small and friendly UK team based at their modern offices near Bracknell, where there is on-site parking.

The Finance Assistant will undertake a variety of tasks including the preparation of the sales (parent) ledger, invoices and have contact with a variety of stakeholders.
We require a self-motivated and organised member of staff to join St Joseph's College as Finance Assistant.
Excellent interpersonal skills, previous experience of the Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger/Nominal Ledger and administration experience (together with strong ICT skills) are required.
To assist the Team Leader in taking responsibility for the operation and profitability of their team members and client's, whilst balancing a client portfolio of your own - reporting directly to their Team Leader
Supporting their Team Leader with escalations of technical and commercial issues encountered within their team.
