Conveyancing Legal Secretary Glasgow, Lanarkshire, and Paisley £24,000 - £28,000 annually (depending on experience) Reporting to Solicitors and Fee Earners Full Time, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 Are you looking for a new legal secretary role in conveyancing? Reed is currently recruiting for a number of exciting and dynamic law firms across Glasgow, Lanarkshire, and Paisley who are looking for experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretaries. Ideally, we are seeking enthusiastic and motivated legal professional, with experience in either residential or commercial conveyancing that can strengthen legal teams and provide secretarial support to fee earners. The responsibilities of the role will be: Providing support to fee earners in conveyancing departments. Completing LBTT returns and liaising with registers of Scotland. Producing conveyancing documentation like offers, missives, dispositions, discharges etc. Audio, copy typing, and digital dictation to produce legal documentation. Liaising with clients over the phone and in person, taking details and arranging meetings with them. Using case management system to support the preparation of documents and letters. Meeting and greeting clients at the office. Completing general office admin work. To succeed in the role, you must: Have 1 or more years' experience as a legal secretary (or in supportive legal roles). Have a good working knowledge of residential or commercial conveyancing. Be proficient at audio and copy typing (knowledge of dictation software is ideal). Have experience drafting legal documents. Be familiar with case management software. Be warm and approachable to colleagues and clients at all times. Have excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail. Have strong general administrative skills.
