You can be based from either location depending on your preference.
The role will be a mixture of working from home and onsite (circa 20% home and onsite 80%).

As part of global LPE the Engineer will liaise with the Local UK/EU technical helpline providing Engineering level technical support in the resolution of customers issues managed through our clients global concern management system and they will also act as a conduit between regions and the central engineering function in the early identification and rectification of systemic quality concerns.
The position resides within Powertrain Local Product Engineering (LPE) function providing engineering technical excellence and issue resolution support to the Uk / EU regions and central powertrain engineering.
- Working as the control engineer providing commissioning support and safety from the system under SSE OSR's by carrying out remote switching during commissioning and initial windfarm operation.
- Covering control room duties are required.
- Monitoring the Windfarm SCADA systems and responding to alarms.

The role will likely be 3x days onsite and the rest working remote from home.
