This initiative focuses on enhancing customer experience and optimising operations. We're seeking a seasoned Salesforce Functional Consultant with a strong business analysis skill set, proficient in Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries Insurance), to drive and shape this transformative project. Role Summary As the Salesforce Functional Consultant, you will bridge business needs with Salesforce solutions, leveraging your expertise in both functional design and business analysis. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll capture and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and Salesforce configurations. This role combines a hands-on approach to solution design with a strategic perspective to ensure the platform supports both operational efficiency and long-term objectives. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Consultation and Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and validate detailed business requirements, using business analysis techniques such as interviews, workshops, and process mapping to understand and document functional needs. Solution Design and User Stories: Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, process workflows, and acceptance criteria that align with Salesforce best practices, ensuring that solutions meet the functional and strategic goals of the organisation. Business Process Optimisation: Lead workshops to map, document, and optimise business processes within Salesforce, focusing on identifying efficiencies, automation opportunities, and best practices. Configuration and Customisation: Configure Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Vlocity Insurance Cloud solutions to meet defined requirements, ensuring that all configurations are aligned with business needs and platform capabilities. Documentation and Testing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and test cases. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage feedback loops to ensure that all functional requirements are met. Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct data analysis to support the development of reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and support key business metrics. User Training and Adoption: Deliver user training sessions and create user guides to promote Salesforce adoption, building capability among end-users and supporting the continuous improvement of Salesforce use within the business. Continuous Improvement and Feedback: Monitor platform usage, identify opportunities for improvement, and gather user feedback to enhance Salesforce functionality, ensuring it continues to meet evolving business needs. Required Skills & Experience Salesforce and Business Analysis Expertise: Extensive experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant or Business Analyst, ideally within insurance or financial services. Proficient in Financial Services Cloud and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) Insurance Cloud. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset to capture, validate, and interpret business requirements, combined with the ability to create functional specifications that effectively translate business needs into technical solutions. Solution Design and Documentation: Skilled in defining user stories, process flows, and functional requirements, and creating documentation that supports clear and actionable solutions. Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate workshops, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions. Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile practices and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) for managing user stories, sprints, and project progress. Data Analysis and Reporting Skills: Ability to analyse data to support the development of Salesforce reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights.
