Responsibilities: Provide empathetic support to bereaved individuals, offering guidance and assistance as needed. Handle sensitive and emotional conversations with professionalism and compassion. Answer inquiries and provide information regarding bereavement services and support available. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions. Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure efficient service delivery. Keep up to date with bereavement policies, procedures, and guidelines. Requirements: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a sensitive or supportive capacity. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathise and connect with others. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. Proficiency in using computer systems and software. Knowledge of bereavement services and an understanding of the challenges faced by bereaved individuals is desirable. Sensitivity and understanding towards different cultural and religious needs.
