Job Title: Assistant Site Manager- Roofing Location: Manchester Job Description: As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Site Manager to ensure the smooth running of our construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing on-site personnel, ensuring safety compliance, and liaising with clients and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and execution of roofing and scaffolding projects. Oversee and manage daily on-site activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate with site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Site Manager. Address any issues or delays that may arise during the project. Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control. Assist in the preparation of project reports and documentation. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on roofing and scaffolding. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
