Site Supervisor South South East £55,000 - Based on Days & Nights We are currently looking for a Site Supervisor to join our Highways Maintenance clients to cover the South South East region. The role comes with a salary of £55,000 - based on day & nights. Responsibilities for Site Supervisor Assuring the completion of works to agreed standards. Escalate any concerns to the Construction Assurance Manager (CAM), in line with agreed governance agreements. Ensuring that all works are constructed in line with: CDM regulations, HSE Legislation, Chapter 8 requirements, Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highways Works (MCHW) Works completed accordance with the drawings and specification as designed. Provide feedback to Project Managers on scheme construction progress and any issues. Act as the initial point of escalation for any on-site issues that need to be resolved. Liaise between all key supply chain partners. Co-ordinate the delivery programme, ensuring buildability reviews are carried out on all projects. Maintaining good liaison with Construction Assurance Manager, Project Managers and Commercial & Procurement colleagues Identifying, in consultation with CAMs and contractors, improvements which eliminate or reduce construction related risks and identifying and managing the rectification of defects. Requirements for Site Supervisor Proven highway/structures and maintenance/construction experience Experience of working on high-speed Trunk Road/Motorway Networks is essential. Full UK Driving Licence Happy to work nights. Good understanding of the DMRB, MCHW, Chapter 8 and CDM Regulations CSCS Card Holder, SSSTS or SMSTS Certificate is essential. Ability to work on their own and within a team and respond to management guidance & support. Ensuring safe and effective delivery whilst managing the expectations and relationship of the client and ensuring that projects deliver against all defined objectives. Degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline (essential). Chartered membership of appropriate professional body (not essential). Knowledge of all aspects of successful project management. Excellent commercial awareness and proven experience of delivering profitable works. Experience of risk and risk management. Proficient in the use of personal computer and business applications/software etc. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel throughout UK. Can do attitude.
