Are you a Distribution Manager looking for a New Opportunity? As the Distribution Manager you will be responsible for making sure the reservations platform operates 24/7 and drives reservations to hotels seamlessly. As part of a small Distribution team, the responsibilities of the Distribution Manager role include, but are not limited to the following: Job Description: Maintaining the quality of the Central Reservation System SynXis and offering technical support to the Revenue Account Managers and Hoteliers, opening, and following up cases Handling requests for set up, on-going maintenance and troubleshooting of CRS interface integrations with PMS, Channel Managers, RMS. Handling requests for set up, on-going maintenance and troubleshooting of the OTAs Channel Connect functionality within the reservation system Preparing and updating supporting documents, manuals, and presentations for internal and external use Handling GDS rate linking requests and GDS troubleshooting queries Assisting with the set-up and ongoing maintenance of the Internet Booking Engine for hotel websites Assisting with the loading marketing programmes (rates) within the reservation system Supporting the Product Integration team with the new hotels build process. Assisting with any other ad-hoc Distribution opportunities and challenges of the day Monitoring the Distribution Helpdesk inbox and actioning all queries from member hotels Timely preparation of ad hoc reports for internal and external use Maintaining guest privacy and organisation reputation by keeping information confidential Responsible for ensuring that the highest level of customer satisfaction is guaranteed to every guest query Responsible for updating content and documents Skills Required: Have a working knowledge of SHS SynXis CR Have a working knowledge of PMS, CRS & GDS and/or other travel distribution systems. Have good knowledge of at least one Channel Management system Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and preferably also Word and PowerPoint Have Front of House customer service experience and/or reservation/revenue experience in the hotel industry Have great analytical abilities to interpret statistical data and have thorough attention to detail Be confident and able to speak to hotels, often in technical terms and in stressful circumstances Have a flexible approach to working hours to ensure completion of projects Be highly organised and self-motivated, be a great team player with a strong ability to self-manage Preferably be qualified with a bachelor's degree and with at least 3 years' experience in the hotel industry (ideally within the luxury sector) Be fluent in English and with a second language (preferable) Have excellent verbal and written communication skills The Package: The salary for this role is between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum 25 days holiday per year (pro rata) Discretionary bonus (capped at 20% of annual salary) Interested: If you would like to apply for the above vacancy, please click 'APPLY' or send your cv to
Job Description As the Distribution Operations Manager for our Brakes Premier Park depot, you'll be responsible for the effective leadership of the function, managing a large fleet and team of drivers, ensuring that all aspects of this busy distribution operation run effectively and efficiently. If you have National/ International Transport Manager CPC license we want to hear from you! Reporting to the General Manager, you will be the principle Operator License holder for site, taking responsibility for the overall performance of the department and the achievement of key performance indicators. As the budget owner for the function, you will be commercially aware, using both data and management information in order to meet and exceed performance expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for the adherence to legislation, company policy, ensuring the ongoing compliance of fleet management and the safety of your team. As an ambassador for the organization, you will be expected to lead by example and ensuring a positive and engaging working environment. We are looking for an experienced manager who has led a busy and complex transport and distribution operation, looking for their next challenge. You will have excellent operational knowledge, but just as critical will be your leadership ability. As a member of the depot senior leadership team, you will have a strong people focus and drive your team to achieve the highest possible levels of service for our customers. You will provide clear direction for the transport team, creating a positive, engaging and high performance working culture. Experience of a multi-temp operation would be beneficial but is not essential.
