The Purpose of the role of Legal & Compliance Manager is to ensure the business adheres to legal and ethical standards, as well as enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business and provide guidance on compliance and policy matters.
Your role is likely to include;
Ideally you will have two years experience in a Legal environment, ideally with experience of overseeing contracts and NDA's within the construction or utilities sector.
The position as the Compliance Manager (M and E) is on a permanent basis, and specialises in Property Compliance and management of the staff within the department.
Under the overall management from the Head of Property Services you will be responsible for all Health & Safety property compliance relating to the performance of Property Services functions including gas installations, servicing and repairs, electrical safety, fire safety, building safety, legionella, asbestos, and lifts.
You will be required to continue to drive and develop compliance for all service areas, to achieve and maintain top quartile performance in all categories.
This Compliance Manager role will be a subject matter expert in investments and funds, and be responsible for advising on and overseeing the clients investing products, as well as broader Compliance duties.
The Risk & Compliance team plays a key role in protecting the clients customers and business.
