This role is integral to providingdirection, advice and support to The Chair and Board of Trustees and the Chief Executive as Accounting officer on Corporate Governance. The successful candidate will ensure that there is an effective, strong and modern Corporate Governance and Assurance Framework in place for the CEO as Accounting Officer and the Chair and Board of Trustees. The post provides an essential link between the Senior Executive Team (SET) and the Board of Trustees, leading and advising on all Corporate Governance matters. The post is responsible for Corporate Governance arrangements, Secretariat services to the Board of Trustees, Risk and Assurance arrangements, and will review these regularly. The role holder will also provide leadership to the implementation of those recommendations in the recent Tailored Review of Amgueddfa Cymru which relate to its governance framework. Hours: 21 hours, flexibility is required to ensure Quarterly Board and committee meetings are attended.
