Computer savvy Diligent with own paperwork in completing vital information Can measure in mm, cm, and mtrs Our client is seeking a Trainee CNC Production Operative to work in our bespoke manufacturing department. Working with wood - a great opportunity to learn and use computer technology, CAD, and modern programming software in the manufacturing of bespoke timber products. The role starts on the shop floor and progresses through several stages: introduction to basic operation of CNC machines Basic setups of CNC, the use of fixtures and jigs, and the loading of programs tool technology, care, mounting, and loading of high-value tooling Understanding cutting principles The use of CAM software (SolidCam) to program parts CAD software (SolidWorks) to draw parts and features The creation of jigs, fixtures, and holding devices Experience with various CNC machines This is a role with good progression opportunities.
