Our client is seeking an ambitious controls biased Commissioning Engineer, to form part of a dedicated team whose primary focus is to transition our manufacturing equipment from completion of build through to customer inspection and sign-off.
The commissioning phase can often present a variety of challenges that are especially prevalent when building bespoke equipment to satisfy their diverse customer base.
This position does involve UK wide and International travel.
My client is a Tier 1 contractor based in London, who is currently looking for a Commissioning engineer 5 years' experience in the water industry to work on the site on a long term contract position.
Responsibilities
Own and ensure that commissioning documentation is completed and available on the Common Data Environment, on a continuous basis, to demonstrate that testing requirements are fulfilled.
This includes FAT, SAT, outage management plans, and ITPs.

You will be working on a vessel where a range of electrical equipment & systems need to be commissioned ahead of sea trials.
Experience required
At least 2 years previous experience in a commissioning role.
Contract opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a live Civil Engineering Highways project in Southampton on a contract basis.
Due to the nature of the role its essential that you have experience of working on a similar project and demonstrable experience of Setting out using GPS, Robotic Total Station.
